Located just outside of D.C. in Germantown, MD, Black Hill Regional Park is a magical spot for you to take lovely engagement photos that will last a lifetime. One of the 2,000-acre park’s highlights is the gorgeous Little Seneca Lake whose calm waters will make a brilliant backdrop for your shoot. For the couple that wants to do a bit of exploring, you could hop in a boat and take pictures of you in the middle of the lake! Or if you don’t want to worry about rowing, you could simply step out on the weathered dock and be framed by water and the shimmering reflection of the beautiful forest with its different shades of green. Come at sunset for a truly spectacular display of colors.
Aside from the lake, you’ll enjoy the different natural textures, such as the leaf-covered forest floor and the fields of tall grasses, which will all make a romantic atmosphere for your shoot.
