Dubbed the “Garden of the Garden State,” the grounds at Skyland are unmatched in beauty and grace. The entire garden is gorgeous in its rich landscaping, but a few locations stand out the most for an engagement photography session.

Formulated by remnants of a crumbling wall, the stoneway door acts as the perfect backdrop for your New York engagement photography. Over the years, tangled vines have grown to cover the top of this wall, framing the doorway to give the place a Secret Garden feel.

You’ll find this mix of stone and greens carried throughout the park - be it a stone pathway or a sandstone wall. If you keep strolling through the Botanical Gardens & Historical Manor, you’ll come across a cottage that looks like it’s sprung straight from a fairytale.
