This impressive park truly is a spectacular natural escape. Located in the scenic hills of Somerset county, Natirar Park is a greenery dream that makes for the perfect New York engagement photography location. 

The plan for Natirar Park began in 1905 when Walter Graeme Ladd and his wife began acquiring land for their private estate. Eventually, the couple owned the largest private estate in the area. Over time, the land was converted into a public park. 

One of the locations you’ll want to visit at Natirar Park is the 1.3-mile Great Meadow Trail. It’s the perfect place for your New York engagement photographer to capture some of those candid moments between you and your fiancé. 

The park is full of towering trees that add an air of woodland whimsy to your engagement photography. If your session is in spring, expect lush greens. If your session is during fall, the park is filled with vibrant hues of orange and red as the leaves change color. Either way, you can’t go wrong.
