Established in the late 18th century, the Mission is imbued with strong Moorish elements, including capped buttresses and tall windows. The Mission is fronted by a spreading green lawn and palm trees that shade its exterior, part of the simple but thoughtful landscaping that you’ll find on the grounds around the building. Walk underneath an arcade roofed with wood and supported with adobe, accented by green shoots of leaves at the base of the columns. On the grounds among the trimmed hedges, you’ll stumble across quiet alcoves decorated with religious relics and detailed landscaping. The Spanish fountains especially make a jaw-dropping detail that you’ll love as you explore this romantic destination for LA engagement photography.
