The ornate and unique venue of The Sanctuary on Penn feels as though you’ve left Indianapolis and stepped into ancient Rome. Built in 1875, the full-service venue features a red brick façade with a steeple. The interior’s design has an astonishing combination of large stained glass windows and Roman ruins. The main hall has a stage area, which can serve as the ceremony altar. The elegance and warmth of the room is drawn by its hardwood floors and paneling. Moving into the cocktail plaza, guests can enjoy the sounds of the wooden piano or a DJ from the built-in booth space.
