Love blooms at the Historic Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago!
Here’s an idea: Cut straight to the honeymoon. At the Garfield Park Conservatory, you’ll feel like you escaped to the tropics a few months early. Your Chicago engagement photography will bloom with vibrant color and the beauty of nature - a spectacular environment to celebrate one word: yes.
One of the largest and most stunning conservatories in the nation, the Garfield Park Conservatory is often referred to as “landscape art under glass.” Inside alone, the conservatory occupies approximately two acres under gleaming glass. The lush flora and tropical temperatures feel like an island getaway, so bring on the waterproof makeup and beach waves.
After snapping a few shots inside the historic and sprawling greenhouse, head outside to frolic through 12 acres of magnificent outdoor gardens. Get lost strolling hand-in-hand through a field of springtime tulips, verdant green fields and flowering trees. With the sun illuminating the landscape around you, your engagement photographer will no doubt capture the glow between the two of you.
First built in 1908, the Garfield Park Conservatory was designed as the centerpiece of the three great original Westside parks—Humboldt, Garfield and Douglas. So not only will your engagement photos be beautiful, they’ll also celebrate a flourishing landmark in the city you call home.
