Also called the Charlotte Historic Arts District, this neighborhood was originally established in the early 1900s as a mill community. There colors everywhere—from natural red brick and brightly painted doors, to brick painted blue, pink, and yellow, and an eclectic mix of posters, stickers, and street art. Pose in front of one of the many bold and vibrant murals or sit outside at an adorable coffee shop. You can also choose from many different eclectic and quirky storefronts.

Around every corner you’ll find something else that will delight you—brilliant blue walls, urban fire escapes, brick pathways, and wrought-iron fences.
