Walden Pond
March to the beat of your own drum by heading to Walden Pond for your Boston engagement photography session.
Walden Pond is the setting of Henry David Thoreau’s very famous book, Walden. The book recounts the year Thoreau spent at Walden Pond getting back to nature. The book has inspired many a businessman to reject the daily grind, and once you see the staggering majesty of Walden Pond, you’ll see why.
Today, the park is a part of the Massachusetts Forests and Parks system, encompassing a whopping 335 acres. You can hike the trails all year, though they’re particularly popular during fall. In the summer, the Reservation has become a popular swimming destination.
Walden Pond is a wonderful spot for your Boston engagement photography session because of the lovely sites it has to offer. The woods extend all the way around the pond, so there are plenty of options to find a secluded spot - perfect for your engagement photographer to really capture you two in your element.
The wooded land surrounding Walden Pond makes for an exquisite backdrop. The long, narrow trees extend higher and higher toward the sky, creating a unique arborous frame - the perfect backdrop in our opinion! The trees look best in spring, summer and fall, so plan your visit accordingly so your Boston engagement photographer can capture the magic.
In addition your gorgeous engagement photography session, you may find yourself back here one day just like Thoreau.
