Dubbed the most impressive auditorium east of New York, The Cabot opened in 1920 as a theater for vaudeville and silent films, eventually transitioning to talkies. In the 1970s, there was a period where the theater was home to a magic show!

Today, The Cabot is one of only 250 surviving movie palaces built in the 1920s, but it almost didn’t make it. The theater was almost bulldozed before Henry Bertolon purchases it in 2014, saving it from demolition.
