You can’t beat the natural beauty of Zilker Metropolitan Park, so there’s no need to stray far from Austin for your engagement photography session!
Dubbed Austin’s most loved park, you’ll find plenty of recreational activities, spots to lounge and flowers to frolic in. Set on 351 acres of public land, Zilker Metropolitan Park has a large, open field where you can see the city skyline in the background. It’s quintessentially Austin.
Stop by your favorite Austin food truck before your engagement session and bring the picnic to the park for a casual approach to your photos. You’ll also want to take advantage of the waterfront views at Zilker. The swimming pool is a major attraction that can act as a backdrop. If that’s too crowded, head over to the waterfront at Ladybird Lake, which cuts through the park.
