You'll find color everywhere you look. There are vibrant blooms in the flower beds, which pop against the expansive greenery of the grass. The apple trees are a lush green, dotted with an alluring red. On top of everything else, you'll melt when you see the barn at the Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard. This bright red barn is completely magical.

04. LAKE HARRIET

Lake Harriet is a relaxed and beautiful oasis outside Minneapolis. Lake Harriet isn't a stand alone in its beauty, it's a part of the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes. You'll find a small smattering of sailboats that are often out on the lake, and you may come across some beachgoers. In the fall, the lake is possibly at its most majestic, with the colors of the changing leaves all around you.

03. MINNEHAHA FALLS

Minnehaha Falls is nature at its finest. The park is located South of Minneapolis-St. Paul. The falls are a staggering 60-feet tall. You'll find them surrounded by towering trees and delightful foliage. What is unique about Minnehaha Falls is that it provides you with two very different ways to experience the falls. On the northern side, the grounds surrounding the falls are well-manicured, as they are maintained as a city park. On the southern side of the falls, you get to experience them in their more natural state.

02. CAFE & BAR LURCAT

Cafe & Bar Lurcat is more than just a great spot for a drink or a bite. This beautiful Minneapolis restaurant is a fantastic location for photos. Located in the heart of the city, it's an ideal spot for Minneapolis couples. In one location, you'll find a variety of interiors and aesthetics. You can't beat that for convenience. Hidden Falls Regional Park is an awe-inspiring way to experience nature. The park, which is located in St. Paul, is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and get back to nature-- not to mention, it can be great for some spectacular photos. Hidden Falls is split into four parts, so you can choose your own natural adventure. There's the primitive area, the boat launching area, the general picnic area, and the scenic falls area. Each of the quadrants has its charms, and they're definitely all worth checking out, but our favorite has to be the scenic falls. The waterfall cascades over a wall of natural stones. It makes for a stunning backdrop, and they say that the ions given off by waterfalls make people happier. Maybe that's why all the photos taken in front of a waterfall turn out so well!
