About Me

I'm Corey, a Detroit-based photographer. My inspiration came from attending a photo exhibition at the Detroit Institute of Arts. It served as a confirmation that photography was a journey I was ready to embark on. It's one that has taken me from Detroit to New York City, and back to Motown again. I'm easy to work with, patient, and mild-mannered. I think that is a very important quality, especially when dealing with high-pressure situations.

What is your photography style?

I bring together fashion and documentary influences when shooting a wedding. I focus on the details, those sentimental moments before the ceremony - perhaps a father and son's last conversation or a mother passing on an heirloom to a bride. Those elements add to the depth of the special day.

Why do you love weddings?

It's not just a wedding. I'm there to capture a piece of family history, and to be an integral part of telling the story of a very important day. I enjoy creating timeless compositions and giving clients something to cherish.
