When it comes to bridal portraits, we think there’s beauty in simplicity. Sydney kept her bridal portrait session very simple and chic in the Dallas Arts District.
The building of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at Myerson Symphony Center is a modern wonder, comprised of overlapping geometric forms. The Myerson’s impressive architectural features, open spaces, and touches of elegance made it such a classic and modern destination for Sydney’s photos.
Sydney began her session in a plush seating area. The blue velvet looked stunning and regal behind her, while the geometric lighting fixture brought another modern element. We thought the location was incredibly complimentary to her modern and minimal trumpet style dress, and we adored how the long tulle train of her bridal dress gave drama and elegance to the photos. It was amazing, she was completely comfortable and at ease moving around in her dress!
From Sydney’s single pendant necklace to her simple net veil, every accessary of hers was a perfect choice. Her bouquet colors were lovely, too, and had a combination of reds, yellows and greens. We love how the use of primary colors nodded to the modern setting.
Sydney posed around the building with different backgrounds and used very few props in her session. The was no need for extras as she posed in front of stunning graphic patterned curtains and a grand staircase.
The natural light was perfect in this session! The large windows let in tons of light, and the indoor, open space offered coverage from the elements outside. The building itself brought modern details to her photos, including clean lines, stunningly simplistic backgrounds and interesting angles. We can’t get enough of this pretty bride taking this modern portrait session to another level!
