Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date.
A wedding is a lot of things to us. Every moment of your wedding day is ripe with emotions, smiles, and brilliant memories, worth capturing in photographs. The day of your wedding is when you embark on a lovely journey not only with your family but also with the family of your soulmate. With so much to look forward to, it only makes sense that you’d want every moment of the day to be pristine and picture-perfect, and only makes sense that you’d wish to have pretty much every moment of your day to be captured in beautiful photos so that you can go over the day and the pleasant memories all over again. When it comes to weddings, we love covering all kinds of weddings, because every wedding is exceptionally unique and brilliant. And when we talk about this beautiful Cincinnati wedding of Michela and Jacob, it was everything that we just described. Their summer wedding was everything that we thought it would be, and when we saw the wedding photos, we were exceptionally happy for the couple. From their wedding planning to the brilliant wedding decor, the wedding day looked bright and rustically charming. The couple’s wedding planning, to us, was perfect because of the brilliant wedding decor ideas. The choice of rustic decor, with pretty lights, made the day look like a glowing night of stars, of course we mean this in a literary way not literally. Our wedding photographer met the couple on their wedding day morning.

The wedding venue for the day was the lovely Hotel Covington. The wedding day was divided into two sections, the reception was to take place in The Madison Event Center, in the hotel, and the ceremony was to take place in Hotel Covington. Before the couple got dressed in their wedding day outfits, the couple had already told our Cincinnati wedding photographer that they wanted a first-look photo session. Prepared for the day, our wedding photographer took amazing photos of the couple as they were preparing to dress up for the day. Our photographer captured the minutest details. Starting from the bride, the bride had picked out a beautiful mermaid-like dress with lace details with straps. For the bridesmaid outfits, she had picked a lovely slip dress in black for all of her best girls. The getting-ready outfits for the bridesmaids were also in black and blush pink, while the mother of the bride, who was also a part of the getting-ready photos, had a similar getting-ready outfit, which had “mom” embroidered on the breast pocket of a black pair of outfit. As the girls began to get dressed for the day, our photographer took photos of the details, including the elegant wedding invitation set the couple had sent out. The invitation set was a lovely retro-styled idea. The wedding bands were also placed in a pretty box and placed next to the wedding invitations. The gifts for the closest ones, the couple had decided to give a small bottle of bottled Kulas Bourbon. After taking solo photos of the bridal gown, our photographer also took a photo of the pretty silver evening gown that the bride’s mother had picked out for the day. After an incredible photo session, the bridesmaids got dressed first, as the bride-to-be along with her mother posed for a few mother-daughter portraits. Then both of them got dressed in their beautiful wedding day outfits.
After the two were dressed, the bridesmaids fluffed the wedding dress and helped her pose for a few photos before the father of the bride and her brother came around to see her in her wedding outfit. Then they helped her put on her chapel-length wedding veil, which added an interesting touch to the wedding outfit. Then, before Michaela made her way to the wedding ceremony location in the hotel, our bride-to-be hid behind a wall corner and surprised her father first, and then her brother, after dressing up as the brilliant bride for the day. Both of them had an emotional reaction, and our photographer captured it in photos. And then, the bridal party made its way to the ceremony venue. By this time, the groom and his groomsmen had dressed up and waited for the bride. They were all dressed in lovely black suits for their wedding day. The groom, for the day, had decided to put on a white dress shirt, while the other groomsmen had black dress shirts. To finish off his outfit, Jacob had a pretty black bow tie. As the bride was making her way to have the first look photo session with Jacob, Jacob and his boys posed for some amazing photos. The boys had a can of beverage in their hands, and a cigar in the other. Before the ceremony, Jacob posed with his father and his best man.
Then, before the ceremony, Jacob made his way to the spot he was to meet Michaela for their first look photo session, waited with his head bowed slowly, and turned his back, so that Michaela could tap his shoulder. And before he knew it, Michaela tapped on his shoulder and we do not have the words to describe his emotional look. With tears in his eyes, it was easy to see, Jacob had been waiting for this moment since the day these two lovebirds started planning their wedding day. Our photographer took photos of the couple, capturing every emotional moment of the two. And then, our photographer stepped further away to take more photos of the two. Both of them, one by one, pulled out a pretty piece of stationery with some soft and loving promises written for each other. In the intimate moments of the first look photo session, the two decided to read out some messages to each other. Smiling, the two looked into each other’s eyes, and we knew that theirs was a love story made for fairytales. Kissing each other, the two walked to the wedding ceremony venue, together. The ceremony was eventful, filled with smiles, claps, and emotions. As the two read their wedding vows to each other, exchanged their wedding bands, and kissed each other to finish their wedding ceremony. The wedding guests smiled, cheered, and clapped.
By the time the wedding ceremony was over, the day was still brimming with sunshine and was as bright as their future. As the guests piled out to make their way to the wedding reception party, the couple took the moment to take some mesmerizing photos to remember the exact moment of happiness. Taking the opportunity to enjoy the bright sun on their summer wedding day, the couple took some photos with their bridesmaids, the groomsmen, and the family. The lush green beauty of the lawns in the wedding venue made the wedding photos pop, and this added symmetry to the greenery the couple had chosen as their wedding decor. As the bridesmaids and the groomsmen took their leave to rest a little before the wedding reception, the couple took some portraits together. The couple had some amazing romantic poses, which they had been planning to pose for. The gazebos in the wedding ceremony venue were just perfect for the outdoor photo session. Nestled between stone pillars and some vines, the couple had lovely photos taken of themselves. They even included their furry friend, a black four-legged fur baby with a greenery-laden collar. Posing with their pet for a few photos, Michaela posed for a few bridal portraits. And then, just like that, it was time for the wedding reception party. Before she left, she took some amazing bridal portraits with her mother. The cascading bridal bouquet and the pleasant smiles of the two made the photos look amazing.
The wedding reception decor was planned for the T. The classic summer wedding theme was paired with lovely monogrammed acrylic letters with lights of the initials of their names. The welcome signage for the wedding was a brilliantly modern and rustic-like mirror with the details of the couple, which was placed on a wicker basket. Around the entrance of the wedding ceremony, there were a few barrels, these added more rustic charms to the wedding set-up. Also, the couple had decided to have a drape as well, with their last name, and shared the last name written in neon lights. This was paired with greenery. The wedding tablescape was neat and classy. The black tablecloth was paired with cream napkins, and lovely floating candles in a pillar candle-like fashion. The table place settings for the wedding guests had a pretty engagement photo of the two as a thank you card and a feather. The couple had decided to have two kinds of cakes for the day, a two-layered naked wedding cake, which was topped with a pretty wedding cake topper. And they had a customized wedding cake as well with the bride on a pretty golf court. The two also had a creative twist on their wedding guestbook. Instead of a traditional guestbook, the two had an audio guestbook, which also had signage next to it with instructions. Our wedding photographer saw the couple make their wedding reception entry, and take the floor for the first dance. As the couple danced, the guests looked at them with happiness in their eyes. Then they danced with the family members, happy and smiling at each other. And just like that, the wedding party’s dance floor was open to the guests and the couple enjoyed the company of good music, amazing food, lovingly friends and family, and the company of their soulmate.
