At GS, we're all a little in love with the idea of love — and no one more so than the lovely Lena, one of our incredible Wedding Coordinators! She's got impeccable taste, an affinity for romantic black-and-white movies and, best of all, she adores engagement sessions! And with love taking the theme for this week's Props, Pops & Poses feature, we've enlisted Lena to share all the heartstring-pulling, gorgeous details that inspire her. Take a look!

Dreamy and romantic, or vibrant and colorful? Spill the details on what "look and feel" you envision for your ideal engagement session!

I'm a wannabe artist, so I love colors! The world around us is so vibrant and colorful, and I would want that to shine through in every single image. Natural emotions, bright colors and smiles are what I envision!

Location, location, location!! If you could pick any spot to shoot your e-session, where would it be?!

I love classic art and architecture, but I also love the mystery of the past. An old building bursting with vintage architecture and character that may be forgotten by modern times is just so romantic to me...and it'd also be a gorgeous backdrop for my engagement session! Nothing's better than the beauty of what has been, with a love that will forever be.

A little bit of color can go a long way! What stunning shades best characterize your engagement style?

I'm partial to earth tones — warm colors in creams, browns and olives. I've always loved autumn and the colors of the season, and those down-to-earth shades would complement my down-to-earth style.

Sweet signs, a picnic for two? There's no doubt props can add an extra dose of pizzazz to any engagement session! What props — if any — would you include in your session?

I'm a quilt person! Cozying up with a warm blanket and a good book or movie on a Sunday, or even taking one out for a picnic...I'm sure a quilt would find its way into my session! With a bottle of wine and a handsome fella? A gal can't go wrong!

Engagement photos are all about capturing that newly engaged glow! During your dream e-session, would you plan to strike a pose or simply live in the moment?

I am all about living in the moment. That natural look of love, complete with a goofy laugh or a shared smile...that's something that can't be posed. I am all about letting the personalities of the couple shine through!

Meet Lena, one of George Street's Wedding Coordinators! With a love of all things romantic and timeless (Katherine Hepburn is her idol!), Lena is as sweet as they come. And while she's clearly got a knack for helping our brides plan every detail of their wedding photography, this gal's range of talents doesn't stop there! Lena spends her free time singing or practicing her cello and ukelele-playing skills. And thanks to her Italian and Southern roots, she's also skilled in the art of soul food and pasta-making! We truly can't help but love this girl!
