After a knockout engagement session, Pately and Marcin brought it home with their perfect spring wedding. The couple tied the knot in a ceremony at St. Mary's Cathedral and a reception at the Barr Mansion & Artisan Ballroom.
Pately wore a high-necked lace dress with an exquisite train. She completed the look with classically elegant bridal accessories. Her ivory Steve Madden bridal shoes were minimalist. The simple sandals brought balance to her look, letting her more intricate dress take the full focus. Pately's elegant and modern updo was the perfect compliment to her dress. We love her hair pulled up with the higher neckline.
The wedding party got some great photos before the ceremony. The bridesmaids lined up, barefoot in the grass with Pately, to show off their charming floral robes. The groom and groomsmen all pulled up a pant leg to show off their matching socks.
The ladies let their dresses get in on the "getting ready" wedding photography action, too. They hung the dresses in a row for a fun take on the dress in the window pre-wedding photo. We love how they included the bridesmaids' dresses in this pic!
Photos with the littlest members of the wedding party always tug at your heartstrings. We couldn't get enough of Marcin and his four very important little ones. Their suits were classic and so grown up (bow ties!). They wore brown sneakers similar to the pair Marcin rocked for his engagement session look.
For their first look, Pately and Marcin read letters back to back. This emotional moment was captured perfectly by the photographer. The private moments at a wedding allow you a moment to connect with your partner, and it almost always makes some of the best photos of the day.
Their reception space was filled with floor-to-ceiling windows, and swaths of white fabric were draped in the air across the dance floor. The space had the feeling of an outdoor wedding with the indoor comfort of air-conditioning, which is especially important for a southern wedding. We love the way they used white combined with natural wood in the decor to give the wedding a rustic elegance.
Outside, string lights hung in the air (another callback to their engagement session). They ended the night with one of our favorite wedding exits, a sparkler sendoff.
