Nestled In Urban Dazzle, Kelly And Colin Tie A Knot In Detroit

Summer and urban weddings have an impressive dreamy charm to them. There’s something especially special about a city wedding. Yes, we love rustic weddings and we love expansive outdoorsy weddings too. But when a wedding in the city gives you sparkly eyes and is planned down to the last T, we can’t help but go ga-ga over it. Kelly and Collin tied the knot in Detroit, a city of many things, and the day, if you ask us, was lovely and mesmerizing. When we saw the wedding photos of the couple, we knew that we were truly in the presence of love. The love these two shared was so strong that it radiated through the wonderful wedding photos our photographer took of them. We loved every part of the two-venue wedding Kelly and Collin threw. And we were just happy to see that the two were not only happy as the day progressed but were also extremely comfortable in front of the camera.

Detroit, the largest city in the state of Michigan, is a city of contrasts. It is a place where history and innovation intersect, where urban grit meets natural beauty, and where the old and new merge seamlessly. Detroit is known for its significant role in the American automobile industry, but this city is also a hub of art, music, culture, and creativity. One of the must-visit attractions in Detroit is the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, which houses an impressive collection of artifacts and exhibits related to American history and technology. The museum showcases everything from the first car produced by Ford to the limousine that carried President Kennedy on the day he was assassinated. The museum is a testament to the ingenuity and creativity of Americans over the years, and it is a must-visit for anyone interested in American history and innovation. Another great attraction in Detroit is the Detroit Institute of Arts, which houses one of the most extensive collections of art in the country. The museum features art from around the world, including works by Van Gogh, Rembrandt, and Picasso, as well as an impressive collection of African art. The DIA is a beautiful space that is home to many beautiful works of art, and it is definitely worth a visit. Detroit is also a city of great architecture. Some of the most iconic buildings in the city include the Guardian Building, the Fisher Building, and the Penobscot Building. These buildings are a testament to Detroit's rich history and the role it played in the rise of the American automobile industry. The city now also offers a walking tour of the city's architectural gems and appreciates the unique blend of art deco and neoclassical styles that make up Detroit's skyline. No visit to Detroit is complete without experiencing the city's vibrant music and culinary scene. The city has a long history of producing some of the most influential musicians in the world, including Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, and Aretha Franklin. The Motown Museum is a must-visit for music lovers, as it showcases the birthplace of the Motown sound and the artists that made it famous. The city also hosts a number of music festivals throughout the year, including the Detroit Jazz Festival, the Movement Electronic Music Festival, and the Concert of Colors. In conclusion, Detroit is a city that is rich in history, culture, and creativity. From the impressive museums to the beautiful architecture and vibrant music scene, there is something for everyone in Detroit. Whether you're interested in history, art, or music, or simply want to explore a new city, Detroit is definitely worth a visit.

It was here that Kelly and Colin fell in love, and were to get married. We loved how the day started early and had the couple buzzing with excitement. For the day, these two had decided to tie the knot at a church and have a traditional wedding ceremony. The wedding ceremony venue was carefully picked and was the beautiful Old St. Mary's Catholic Church, which is also called the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, or St. Mary’s, is the third oldest church in Detroit, Michigan. The church’s cornerstone for construction was set way back in 1884, and completed after. The years of history and beauty are still visible in the paintings and the building’s architecture. The interiors are awe-inspiring and made for the perfect place to tie the knot with the love of your life. As for the wedding reception venue, Kelly and Colin had decided to choose the Colony Club, which is housed on a busy street and sits between towering buildings as their wedding reception venue in Detroit. Although the couple had planned the wedding details, they had also hired their wedding planner to help ease the running of their special day. The day’s look and how smoothly their wedding worked out, we knew that the couple and their wedding planner put in a lot of hard work. For the day, Kelly and Collin decided to get dressed separately and decided that they did not want to take first-look photos. As the timing of the wedding was coming closer, the couple began getting dressed.

As Kelly and Collin, in separate dressing rooms, were planning out their day and getting things in order, our wedding photographer decided to take some photos of the wedding details. Our photographer, to immortalize the details of their wedding day, took photos of the wedding stationery. The wedding invitation set was simple, white and black. Our photographer took photos of the ring box, which housed the wedding rings for both of them. The ring box was a pretty mauve box, it had a velveteen touch to it and was a plush beauty. Alongside that, our photographer also took some photos of the details for the groom and groomsmen. Colin had laid out his watch for the day and had laid out the pretty groomsmen gifts as well for his groomsmen. For his groomsmen, Collin had picked out lovely watches. The bride, Kelly, had picked out pretty hard case clutches for the bridesmaids as their bridesmaid gifts. Each of these clutches was personalized and had the name of the bridesmaid engraved on the clutch. The bride’s wedding dress for the day was a beautiful embossed dress from Jenna In White. The wedding dress was a lovely mermaid dress with intricate details running all over the dress and had string straps. When Kelly put on that dress, she looked absolutely stunning! We loved the dress and it was one of the prettiest dresses we’ve seen so far.

The groom and the groomsmen dressed up first and made their way to the reception venue to pose for some amazing groom and groomsmen photos. For the day, both groom and groomsmen had decided to put on a blue suit matched with white dress shirts with suspenders. These stylish boys were excited and buzzing with excitement. The groomsmen helped the groom dress up and helped him with the cuffs he had picked for the day. To complete their wedding day outfits, the groom and the groomsmen, both had decided to have deep brown dress shoes. Collin had decided to add a beautiful gold wristwatch as his wedding day accessory. Along with that, he had decided to put on a lovely ivory white tie for the wedding day outfit. Before his groomsmen joined him for the day, and accompanied him to the reception venue, Collin posed for a few groom photos. What we love about his solo photos is that he looked happy, and had one of the brightest smiles we’ve seen. It was very easy to see that he was supremely excited to marry the love of his life. As all the groomsmen were just about done dressing up for the day, all of them put on their beautiful blue dress jackets with white pocket squares, and they were ready for the day. Once dressed, all of them made their way to the wedding ceremony venue.

In another room, the girls were beginning to get dressed as well. Their getting-ready outfits were satin shorts and pretty button-down shirts, both of them in a pretty shade of blush pink. Their getting-ready outfits mirrored the excitement and the happiness the groom and groomsmen photos did. Before the girls began working on their outfits for the day and started doing their makeup and hair, they posed for a few photos in their getting-ready outfits. Their getting-ready photos were pretty and full of smiles. The bridesmaids switched positions around Kelly to make the photos look even better. Once done, Kelly presented her well-thought bridesmaid gifts to the bridesmaids. With awe, the girls accepted the beautiful gesture and were excited to use their bridesmaid clutches for the wedding outfits! After their short photo session in their getting-ready outfits, the girls began to prepare for the day. The bridesmaid dresses were pretty beige dresses, and they decided to get dressed before the bride so that they could be all hands on deck for her. The bridesmaids’ hairdo was simple, they let their hair down for the day. Kelly’s bridal makeup was lovely and very natural. Her wedding hairdo was middle-parted, and like the bridesmaids, she let her hair down as well. To complete her look, Kelly had a lovely netted medium-length wedding veil. Before the bride made her way to the wedding venue, she decided to pose for a few photos. The bridal portraits captured the bride’s beauty and the happiness she exuded on her special day. To pose for the photos, her bridesmaids also handed her the bridal bouquet. The bouquet was a beautiful mix of white blooms peppered with yellow flowers and big leaves. The bouquet was hand-tied.

After she posed for the photos, Kelly walked out to the other room, where her father was waiting for her. Our Detroit wedding photographer captured the moment the bride’s father looked at Kelly and had an emotional moment. The photo was brilliant, and we can see the pride and happiness Kelly’s father felt just from that photo. Hugging her father, the two shared a quiet moment. Then she posed for a few photos with her parents. The mother of the bride was dressed in a deep navy blue dress. And just like that, it was time for all of them to make their way to the wedding ceremony venue. By the time the bride arrived at the church for the wedding ceremony, the wedding guests had already begun trickling in. As the groom awaited the bride’s arrival, Collin and his groomsmen posed for some classy photos. Our photographer captured the playfulness of the groom and groomsmen in photos. When the bride arrived, the groom and groomsmen walked indoors and waited for the bride to make her wedding ceremony entry. The wedding guests took their spots, and waited, just like the groom and groomsmen. And then the doors to the church opened, and in walked the bride with her father. Hand in hand, she walked down the aisle with elegance. Taking Kelly by her hand, Collin let her up on the altar and the ceremony began. After a traditional ceremony, the two took their eloquent wedding vows and sealed their wedding with a kiss. These two lovebirds then turned out, broad smiles on their faces, and they walked down the aisle together.

After the wedding ceremony, the two stayed back for a few wedding photos. The guests, however, made their way to the wedding reception venue. The bride and groom posed with their families first and took amazing group photos. Then, the couple decided to pose for a few photos with the bridesmaids and the groomsmen. All of them were happy and prompt with the poses. Our photographer helped them pose for a few fun wedding photos. Helping them with photo pose ideas with just the bridesmaids and then just with groomsmen, our photographer helped Kelly and Collin make memories of the day. Then, our photographer helped the two to take some romantic photos, which showcased the love these two shared. Then, using the church’s lovely landscape, our photographer helped the bride pose for some amazing photos with the bridesmaids. Then our photographer helped the bride pose for some lovely bridal portraits. Our photographer shifted the beautiful train of the wedding gown to immortalize Kelly’s beautiful look for the day. The last few bridal portraits before the reception party were at the marbled stairs of the church. Our photographer helped Kelly pose with her lovely wedding bouquet.

And then, it was time for their wedding reception party. Before the room filled with guests and the guests celebrated Kelly and Collin’s love story, our photographer took photos of the lovely wedding details the two had carefully planned. The three-tier wedding cake was placed on a beautiful golden cake stand. The wedding cake table decor was pretty simple and was only adorned with small candles. The white wedding cake was decorated with pretty white, pink, and pale yellow edible flowers with edible leaves. The wedding tablescape was simple and minimal. Made with opulent gold details and delicate floral accents, the wedding dinner settings looked stunning. Then the room began filling up with the guests, who were waiting for the beautiful couple to make their wedding reception entry. And in walked Kelly and Collin hand in hand, and the guests applauded the two. The two had their first dance surrounded by amazing people. And then they took their spot at the sweetheart table, decorated with similar floral decor as the wedding cake. And just like that, the wedding reception party was going on in full swing. The two enjoyed each other’s company and the company of their dearest and closest friends. As the day was coming to a close, the couple stole away from the bustling party to enjoy the outdoors and take some more photos. The urban setting made their photos look mesmerizing. They were joined by their groomsmen and bridesmaids, who flanked the couple and posed for amazing photos. The couple also used the roads and the pretty tall buildings around them to create a beautiful frame for their wedding photos. Going back inside, the two smiled at their guests. And then, as the day was ending, the two walked out of the reception venue with smiles on their faces, hand-in-hand, and with dreams for their future.
