Mary and Matt had decided to have a beautifully planned wedding, which we loved. The wedding ceremony venue was St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Situated in the heart of St. Louis, St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church stands as a beacon of faith and a cherished symbol of spiritual devotion. With its stunning architecture and rich history, this magnificent church welcomes visitors with open arms, inviting them to discover its sacred beauty. This church has an awe-inspiring beauty courtesy of the soaring ceilings, intricate stained glass windows, and ornate details. The hallowed halls resonate with a sense of reverence, creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The church's deep-rooted history and commitment to the community are evident in its vibrant parish life. St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church is not only a place of worship but also a cherished landmark in St. Louis. Its timeless beauty and significance in the community make it a must-visit destination for those seeking a deeper connection to their faith or a glimpse into the city's religious heritage. Before the wedding ceremony could start, the bride and the groom decided to get dressed. They had decided to opt out of the first look photo session. The groom and the bride decided to get ready in separate rooms. The bride and the bridesmaids had their getting-ready outfits in sync. The bride was dressed in a white pair of shirt and shorts, while the bridesmaids had lovely dusty orange outfits. Mary’s beautiful dress was from Patsy's, A Bridal Boutique, and it was as lovely as we imagined it to be. The ivory dress with its sheen and beautiful train made Mary look, to us, one of the loveliest brides we’ve ever seen. To make her wedding outfit look pristine, he paired it with a mid-length wedding veil. As the bridesmaids were dressing up, our photographer took some amazing photos of the bride. Her bridal makeup was natural and made her look radiant. For her bridal jewelry, she kept things simple and chose a pair of pearl earrings. The cherry on the cake was her bridal hairstyle, with a few free locks and a low-hanging bun, our bride for the day was ready to take her vows and start an exciting journey with her soulmate. The bridesmaids were dressed in beautiful taupe dresses. As the girls were deciding to leave the room to meet Matt at the wedding ceremony venue, our St. Louis wedding photographer took photos of the wedding details. Their beautiful wedding stationery was delicately captured in photos, and so were the wedding rings. Once the girls were all ready to go, they made their way to the church.
The boys, on the other hand, had reached the church and were waiting for the bride to show up. Matt had decided to put on a classy tuxedo for his wedding day. A navy blue three-piece suit with black lapels made him look like the most handsome man in the room. The groomsmen, as excited for Matt as he was, were dressed in classy black tuxedos. Standing tall and waiting for the bride to swoop in, they looked perfect, which is why our photographer took a photo of them. And just like that, Mary arrives, and everyone makes their way inside. The church pews are filled with their amazing wedding guests, who were waiting for these two to tie the knot. And on the altar, with the priest, Matt stood with his eyes fixed on the door, waiting for his soon-to-be bride to walk in. As the air inside the church swells with excitement, the doors open and Mary steps in with her father. The wedding entry was beautiful, Mary looked absolutely stunning and she wore a smile, with happiness visible in her eyes. Walking down the aisle with her father, who was dressed in an outfit similar to the groomsman! Mary walked slowly, softly taking each step, with one arm around her father, and her bridal bouquet in the other hand. The bridal bouquet was a wonderful cascading bouquet with white, and pink flowers, with greenery! Slowly, she walked up to the altar, and Matt helped her up. Taking their time to stand together, next to each other, the two waited for the ceremony to begin. As the wedding ceremony went on, the guests softly murmured and waited for these two to tie the knot. And just like that, these two looked into each other’s eyes and exchanged their wedding rings. And just like that they had their first kiss as a married couple, and the room exploded into smiles, claps, and happy cheers! Our photographer also took photos of the beautiful couple as they walked down the aisle with each other.
As the wedding guests leave the church to make their way to the wedding reception venue, our couple decided to take a few photos with their closest friends and family. As the two were resting for a bit and spoke to their families, our photographer took photos of the beautiful rings. Their wedding and engagement ring photos turned out to be amazing. Our photographer then helped the beautiful couple to make use of the church’s interiors, by helping them pose for their photos. First, Matt and Mary posed with their families. These group photos of the wedding were beautiful. They also took photos with all of the families, big group photos. Then our photographer also helped the couple pose for photos with their groomsmen and the bridesmaids. Using the beautiful interiors of the church to take photos of their wonderful day. Our photographer also helped the couple pose for photos with the maid of honor and the best man. Then, before taking outdoors to capture some photos surrounded by greenery and more, our photographer helped the couple, and their bridesmaids and groomsmen to pose for a big group photo. And then, they walk out, together, to pose for some last photos. Before our photographer had Mary and Matt pose separately for romantic photo shots, our photographer used the space outdoors, the column of the church, to take yet another impressive group photo. And then, our photographer helped the bridesmaids pose for photos with the bridesmaids. Then our photographer also helped the groomsmen and the groom pose for amazing photos! And then, our photographer wanted to take some amazing photos of the couple. Using the soaring ceilings and large areas of the church, our photographer helped the couple pose for beautiful photos. The couple posed in some amazing traditional romantic photos, and then they posed for some solo photos as well. And then, Mary and Matt made their way to the wedding reception venue. The wedding reception venue for the day was Stifel Theatre. It is an enchanting venue that sets the stage for unforgettable weddings. With its historic charm and elegant ambiance, it provides a breathtaking backdrop for couples to exchange their vows and celebrate their love story. The majestic architecture, adorned with ornate details and stunning chandeliers, exudes a sense of grandeur and sophistication. From the moment guests enter the theater, they are transported to a world of romance and magic. With its impeccable service and attention to detail, Stifel Theatre ensures that every wedding is a flawless and memorable occasion, leaving couples and their guests with cherished memories that will last a lifetime. And that is exactly what happened when it came to the brilliant wedding of Matt and Mary.
Before the wedding reception party kicked off, since the day was still bright, our wedding photographer decided to take some more photos of the couple. Happy and smiling, the massive expanse of the venue was just right for the photo session. Stifel Theatre's outdoors was brilliant and impressive. The greenery and the open spaces made the photos look absolutely stunning! The waterfront space of the venue also served as an amazing backdrop for the photo session! And just like that, it was time for these two to step in and celebrate their wedding day with their friends and family. Hand in hand they walked in, and smiled as they made their wedding reception entry. Greeted with happy smiles and claps, the couple took the dance floor and had their first dance. Twirling and almost gliding on the dance floor, these two looked perfectly happy in each other’s arms. Then they took turns dancing with their family members before they opened the floor for the guests to start the party. As the wedding guests were enjoying themselves, our photographers took photos of the delicately decorated wedding reception. The escort cards were simple and neatly lined up for the guests to find. Every table setting for the wedding was complete with dusty orange ceramic plates, and romantic red napkins. To keep the wedding day simple and soft, our couple decided to have lovely three-candle and floral centerpieces. For the tables for family members, the tables had lovely greenery and floral runners. For their wedding cake, the two of them had decided on an uber-simple wedding cake. It was a two-tier cake with pretty edible flowers. As the wedding party continued, our couple took a moment to take some photos inside the theater. Our photographer helped the two pose for photos to capture the beauty of their love in timeless photos. The groomsmen and the bridesmaids joined as well. And then, the lovely couple went back to cut their wedding cake and share their happiness with everyone. Surrounded by their closest and dearest, Matt and Mary had their wedding cake-cutting ceremony before the wedding dinner was served. As the night continued, our couple smiled and danced. We could tell, just by the photos, that their hearts were full and happy. Looking at their wedding photos, we can tell that theirs was a wedding that modern love stories are made of.
