They chose to host their wedding in the bustling city of New York, a city that has a lot to say and many stories to tell. It is glorious, full of drama, and is larger-than-life, something that instantly makes one’s love story a little more magical than it already is! Adored by lovers and muse of the photographers, the Big Apple of America, New York, is a crackling livewire of a city, full of skyscraping high rises, black and yellow taxis, people from all places and phases of life, and intriguing stories cohabiting in the iconic city of New York. A city that never gets boring, NYC is filled with a heady mix of colors and textures, painting a pretty picture, with no effort at all. With the huge range of idyllic structures dotting NYC, starting from the beautiful iconic Brooklyn Bridge to the glittering Times Square, from the urban backyard, Central Park to the glorious Statue of Liberty, each one of these structures makes the city what it is. A balanced mix of lush gardens, sparkling hotels, museums, and cuisines, NYC is a range of contrasting terrains and personalities existing together and complementing each other. Kris and Jessica hosted their wedding ceremony at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, a Roman Catholic parish sitting pretty in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City. Established in 1918 by the Dominicans; the attached priory cats as the headquarters of the Eastern United States Province of the order. The couple had a beautiful ceremony with the well-wishes of the friends and families here and then headed to Benchmark Restaurant for their wedding reception. A beautiful wedding venue in the heart of Brooklyn's Park Slope neighborhood, Benchmark Restaurant features a New American menu primarily focusing on pasture-raised animals and locally-grown produce. Centrally located in Brooklyn's bustling neighborhood at 339A 2nd Street at 5th Avenue, this restaurant is easy to get to and is highly acclaimed. Back between the 20s and 40s, the space Benchmark was used as an icehouse and a place to station goods that arrived on the banks of the Gowanus Canal. A historic wedding venue with a story to tell and a charming and inviting setting of the venue itself enhanced by warm exposed brick and arched windows, the venue provides the perfect setting for a wedding. Perfect for intimate events of around 15-45 guests indoors, the venue can accommodate up to 155 guests in total if the spacious Benchmark garden is also used optimally, which in itself can seat 100 guests comfortably. Kris and Jessica’s choice of the event space was perfect for their unique wedding and the size they had in mind. A stunning wedding with luscious green grounds, aging tall trees, romantic water fixtures and fountains, the interiors of the space has a charm of its own and is adorned with the most exquisite decor. We love the gorgeous setting that the location offers for the lovely couple to pose against and get those precious clicks.

The couple woke up feeling exhilarated and ready to get married on this sunny summer NYC day. Our gorgeous duo was dressed to the nines and looked like a dream together. Our blushing Jessica was wearing a white wedding dress with a higher neckline and a racer-back detail, giving her an elegant and unique look. We love everything about the dress, from the thin straps, the intricate embroidery of the dress, and the timeless trumpet cut, all working together perfectly. The sparkling waist belt added to the glam factor perfectly. Her hair was done up in a beautiful updo and sparkly hair accessory added to the sparkle which was again mirrored by the touches of jewelry that tied in the look together. Her makeup was minimal and was dressed up by her gorgeous smile. To complete the look, she carried a minimal bouquet of foliage and little sprinkle of delicate white flowers. The look was simple and spoke loud and clear in volume, which is what we absolutely love! Her bridesmaids were wearing a gorgeous purple color as their dresses which brought in a bold streak color to a simple palette. The bridesmaids carried little bouquets of white flowers to match the bridal whites! We love the balance between simple and regality which seems to be the theme of the wedding. Kris looked dashing on the wedding day as he wore a stunning charcoal-gray suit, white button-down, blue tie with white polka dots, a sparkly gold tie-pin, and a white pocket square. A white boutonniere dressed up his look and black formal shoes completed his ensemble. We love the way the look of the couple was primarily neutral with a bold streak here and there to add some fun! While the couple celebrated their special day with their close ones and had the time of their lives, they also visited some of the iconic structures of the city so that our New York wedding photographers could capture them around the tell-tale setting to lend a strong New-York vibe to their NYC wedding photo session.
