We attend many weddings every year and each one touches us in its own unique way. Kirsten and Christian’s recent Minneapolis big day was so incredibly heartwarming, we had to share!
The couple chose beautiful Almquist Farm to host the day’s event. With over 70 acres of rolling hills, spectacular views, and a newly renovated rustic wedding barn, we couldn't help but fall in love with the rustic elegance of the space.
Kirsten got ready at the venue’s bridal suite as her wedding photographer took detailed photos of her accessories around the property. We love when photographers get creative and take details outside, like the way her stunning wedding dress was hung in the doorway of the barn, or how her bridal shoes were brought out to be admired by the residing goats!
A photo with your best gals is a must at your wedding, which is why Kirsten and her bridesmaids got several group shots while getting ready. The bright, open windows gave them the best light. The ladies would wear neutral taupe dresses with pops of red and burgundy.
Kirsten and Christian shared in a first look before the ceremony. We can't get enough of their outdoor pictures, especially amongst the falling leaves and autumn colors!
The two had an intimate barn wedding where family and friends gathered around to witness their I dos. We loved how informal it felt, as everyone gathered around the couple, unlike a traditional seated ceremony. We were surprised at how romantic it felt.
Their reception was kept simple but beautiful (much like their ceremony) with unique displays of wedding signage and photos.
