How to Make Your Wedding A Spring-Inspired Affair

Each warm day brings the promise of spring, and we can wait for spring weather or spring weddings. Spring is a perennial favorite for weddings because it's a season that celebrates new beginnings. To get you in the spirit of spring, we've put together an inspiration guide for the best ways to add spring touches to your nuptials.

Colors
Looking for the perfect spring color palette? Spring is the ultimate season for pastels. Blush, mint green, and lilac are always staples for April through June. If you're looking with something brighter, you can also go with bright splashes of color. Consider embracing Living Coral, the Pantone color of the year. It's vibrant, alluring, and pairs well with pastels.

Flowers
Flower crowns for all! An inspired wreath of blossoms and greenery adds a breath of fresh air for your bridal style. This is a modern classic alternative to a veil, and the bride isn't the only one who can get in on the fun. You can give each of the bridesmaids and flowers girls a flower crown of their own for a wedding look so fresh it'll feel like you came straight out of the veil of the fairies.

When choosing the flower arrangements, considers opting for large arrangements with full flowers and lots of greenery. You can tie ribbons around the stems of bouquets to evoke a maypole.

Daisies, tulips, and daffodils are classic spring staples. They look enchanting on their own, or you can bulk it up with greenery and accent with roses.

You can incorporate fresh flowers into your cake decoration for a springy touch. This is a simple way to take your cake to the next level.

Attire
Floral is the theme of spring. Embrace a flower pattern in ties, shoes, and bridesmaids dresses. We especially love a floral pattern for outdoor weddings. Look for floral embellishments and detailing on dresses and accessories or consider matching floral robes as bridesmaid gifts-- a forever favorite for getting ready photos.

Floral designs on invitations and other paper products can make the whole affair feel cohesive. You can choose the same floral motif for your invitations, programs, and signage-- or you can mix and match for a more bohemian feel.

Decor
Use birds, birdcages, lanterns, and flower boxes for reception decor that stands out in your wedding photography. Strands of greenery make for exquisite garland. We love nothing more than a floral arch as the backdrop for a ceremony.

Photo Tips
Here are some of our favorite pro-tips to get the most out of your spring wedding photography. Pick outdoor locations that will be in bloom. With ready-made spring scenery, you just have to walk into the frame for a picture-perfect moment. Come rain or shine, spring pics can be cute. All you need is an adorable umbrella, which can work as a  parasol or a rain shield, depend on what kind of weather you're dealt. Pose on tree swings for romantic, whimsical portraits.
