Hannah and Spencer’s wedding day is a leaf stolen from a fairytale love story, and our San Diego wedding photographers captured the day in all its resounding glory. The day started with Hannah getting ready with her girls as they shared a toast for the day ahead. Hannah wore a white bridal pajama set with a matching white robe and the bridesmaids wore matching green floral pajama sets. They had this lovely getting-ready session in the Bridal Cottage of the venue, and the greenery as the backdrop to the photographs was whimsical and magical. On the other hand, the groom and his groomsmen were in the Groom’s Cave, sharing a drink before the day started. Our wedding photographers in San Diego took this opportunity to capture some memorable moments in lovely group photography. 

Hannah soon slipped into her gorgeous wedding dress- a total stunner of an A-line wedding dress adorned with embroidery, beading, and lace details. The tulle skirt of the dress lay in an ethereal way and went with the whimsical woodland vibe of the wedding day perfectly. Her gorgeous black curly hair was arranged in a low ponytail and the head accessory pulls the look together beautifully. A simple pair of drop earrings and natural makeup completes Hannah’s look and a bridal bouquet in white and green, and a bridal veil added that bridal flair. The bridesmaids look stunning in their forest green floor-length bridesmaids dresses. Spencer looked dashing in his black suit, white shirt, black bow, and suspenders. A green silk pocket scarf and a white boutonniere completed his look. His group of groomsmen mirrored his look, but they swapped out the black bow for forest green ones. 

After the couple are dressed up and ready for the day, Hannah and her girls were captured by the wedding photographers outdoors and there were several adorable shots from that, making unforgettable memories for the gang. There were also some lovely bridal portrait shots. The couple then had a lovely “no-look” first look, where they held hands and shared a private moment together to collect their emotions. Soon it was time for the wedding ceremony. The ceremony site is outdoors, and the white chairs were adorned with greenery and ribbon details. The wedding arbor was simple and under a gorgeous tree with minimal decor. Spencer came first and was walked down by his parents, and after the bridesmaids and groomsmen come out, the flower girl arrives and makes way for Hannah. The couple exchanged their vows amidst their loved ones and exchanged their rings and sealed the deal with a kiss. After the ceremony, the couple posed for photos with their loved ones, friends, and family, and several group shots were captured. The couple posed with their bridesmaids and groomsmen too, making some beautiful tangible memories. After the group photos were done, the couple sneaked out for some couple shots. We absolutely loved the shots of the couple as they posed amidst the tall towering trees. 

After the photo session, it was soon time for the wedding reception. The couple made a grand entrance as they were greeted by their wedding guests. The entrance has lovely wooden signage which said “Welcome to our forever”, which was a sweet touch. The couple took their seat at the sweetheart table, which was adorned with forest green drapery, white flowers, and greenery. The couple had their first dance and were captured beautifully by our San Diego wedding photographers. Then came the speeches and toasts, and as the evening progressed, the bistro light added a magical air to the ambiance. Soon the couple cut their wedding cake, a simple three-tier white cake adorned with white flowers and greenery. Overall, this was a truly wholesome wedding day that had a lot of nature, love, and thoughtful touches. The understated, green, gold, and white theme went beautifully with the location, and our wedding photographers in San Diego captured the details and moments with an expert hand.
