If this is what Art Deco looks like, count us in! Vanessa and Tommy’s glamorous, outdoor wedding was - in one word - golden.
The Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa & Marina set a tropical scene for this San Diego wedding. But the natural beauty of the oceanside paled in comparison to the gorgeous gold accents at every turn.
Vanessa owned the night in her beaded wedding dress patterned with crystalline sparkle. The dramatically low back gave way to a figure-hugging trumpet silhouette - such a knockout look! Her bouquet of blush and ivory roses was even glam, accented with ethereal white feathers and a statement brooch.
The bridesmaids looked stunning and totally unique. Each wore a different fitted black top and finished the look with a long, shimmering gold skirt that illuminated a lively texture. The groomsmen also got in on the sleek theme with black dress shirts and jackets, gold vests and bowties.
At the ceremony, the chairs were adorned with white, black and gold bows. The altar was draped with sheer white fabric, full clusters of white roses and hydrangea. To finish off this glam look was a cascade of crystal beads that glimmered in the sunlight.
The reception decor followed suit with gold, gold and gold! Plush white roses and hydrangea bloomed in glittery gold vases. The billowing white fabric was flowing from the peak of the tent, creating a dreamy, ethereal effect. Tall plumes of white ostrich feathers stood dramatically on black linen-clad tables, which seated black and gold chairs.
And that wedding cake! A three-tiered number accented with more gold and black, topped with a delicate black feather. Such a unique idea for a cake topper.
