Beaches and tropical settings are absolute stunners when it comes to weddings. They lend a rustic, raw natural charm that makes everything even more beautiful, refreshing and picturesque. And such was Ginny and Heath’s southern wedding as they enjoyed a beautiful day along the beaches of Hilton Head Island.

Starting with the sweet and simple bridal prep, Ginny’s photographer beautifully captured her dress, shoes and accessories, all ready and waiting to adorn her as she sipped mimosas from the mimosa bar during her hair and makeup. Heath had his finishing touches during the groom prep captured too, because we love detail photos during groom prep just like during bridal prep. And we also couldn’t help getting all sentimental as all the ladies gasped and wowed as Ginny descended the stairs for the first look with her bridesmaids; even the littlest lady had a look of awe. We absolutely love these pre-wedding moments to capture the genuine excitement and anticipation of these moments forever. Afterward, Ginny posed for some stunning bridal portraits among the large palms, hedges, and greenery and looked absolutely fabulous.

As the ceremony drew nearer, the photographers focused on details like the elegant signs decorating the ceremony space and welcoming plus directing the guests. We must admit that the two carefully thought out the ceremony signage and decor. The minimalistic yet beautifully appropriate décor let the bride shine even more as she walked arm-in-arm with her father towards the breezy oceanside altar where Heath waited. The water creating a beautiful background for the couples “I DO’s” in front of the beautiful ceremony arch, draped and decorated with sheer fabric and bright flowers.

Following the waterside ceremony, the reception at the Sonesta Resort was beach themed, too. Driftwood centerpieces and votives decorated the tables with more vibrant flowers and added a splendid rustic charm to the event.

And as the sun set, Ginny and Heath graced us with some gorgeously romantic photos around the island before dancing the night away under the romantic glow of string lights and the warmth of their loved ones’ blessings.
