Now this is how you do rustic charm—easy yet elegant, relaxed yet refined. Emily and Brandon’s late-November outdoor wedding is everything we love about autumn romance.
The natural enchantment of fall was on full display at Homestead Manor in Nashville. At their classically beautiful event, Emily and Brandon peppered in colorful pops of eclectic wedding decor. Their wedding venue was an outdoor playground for wedding portraits, especially when Emily literally went out on a limb and perched in a tree. Clearly, their Nashville wedding photographer was a pro at finding all the best photo ops, since they had just snapped their engagement photos here a month earlier.
The couple started their day getting ready and exchanging handwritten love letters—a moment we love to capture on video! Their engagement photos even made a special appearance in a faux newspaper they created just for the occasion to welcome guests to their wedding and highlight all the must-know details.
Brandon looked classically handsome in his grey three-piece suit, while Emily stunned in a delicate lace-textured gown. Her fur stole was both functional and luxe for the brisk day—a glamorous contrast to natural elements, like the blanket of fallen leaves that led the way down the aisle. As far as bridal accessories go, if Emily’s (something) blue velvet Mary Janes look familiar, they made a cameo in her engagement photos, too.
Their fall season was celebrated in Emily’s choice of flowers, with her vibrant bridal bouquet of red, coral and pink flowers tied together with a corset-like ribbon. Lush with greenery, Emily’s autumnal flower crown haloed her sideswept hair, and popped against the season’s changing leaves.
Their wedding decor radiated warmth, accented by unexpected hints of gold, crisp white and navy—a refreshing twist on the usual fall color palette. Rustic signs helped guests navigate the reception, adding more charm at every turn. Surrounding their single-tier cake was a plethora of pies for a sweet and seasonal twist.
When it was time to call it a night, guests lit up the sky with a sparkler sendoff as Emily and Brandon bid slipped away in a vintage car. Definitely a fall night to remember.
