Erin and Jamal chose the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden as the backdrop for their beautiful outdoor engagement session. One of the most breathtaking places to visit in the area, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden offered the couple a variety of different settings for their photos.
Among them, Erin and Jamal used the Crape Myrtle Allee, A Woman's Garden, and Margaret Elizabeth Jonsson Color Garden for their outdoor photos. Their engagement session was a masterclass in using one location to capture a lot of different photo looks. If you choose the right spot, one location can make it look like you went to many different places.
The geometric stone arch offered a modern framing with the reflection pool extending into the front of the frame. Grand and minimal.
They found a secluded corner where Jamal could whisper into Erin's ear. The flowers in the foreground give a pop of color and an air of intimacy, especially against the romantic backdrop of the stone wall.
Under a tunnel of trees, Erin took a couple of twirls. Action shots like these always make for phenomenal photos and often lead to candid moments that can make for some of the best pics of the day.
What's more, the natural beauty of the surroundings meant the Erin and Jamal could pack light when it came to props. All they needed was a blanket to set a little picnic scene. It goes to show you don't need to bring along much when there are great elements in your location!
