To Ashley and Justin, the setting of a photo is just as important as the people in it. They placed great emphasis on natural surroundings for their San Francisco engagement session, which brought the couple and their photographer to beautiful Lands End Trail.
Lands End Trail in San Francisco is comprised of several different trails, stunning views, and coastal terrain. Also present: stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge from several different vantage points. Come along with us while the couple visits the Sutro Baths, the path to Land’s End Point and Mile Rock Beach!
Starting at the Sutro Baths, the couple took photos in front of the natural rock formations, including a large cave opening!
Maybe one of our favorite elements of this session, Ashley’s bright red dress was a vibrant pop of color in a landscape of neutrals. It was an incredible choice for the organic setting of the session. Was she channeling the iconic hue of the Golden Gate Bridge? We have to wonder if the choice was inspired! Justin kept it casual and beachy in a white button up and jeans and was a perfect counterpoint to his fiance’s dramatic dress.
We couldn’t get enough of the couple and how they effortlessly moved about the site. They truly looked at ease in front of the camera, whether arm-in-arm or stopping for a kiss on the path’s stairs.
Wrapping up the session on the beach, the movement of Ashley’s dress made us hope for more long breezy dresses in the future. And as the fog rolled in on the beach, we couldn't help but be thankful for a reprieve from sunny skies. Almost in a world of their own, the couple is all we see. Stunning!
