When July rolls around, we can only think of the red, white and blue July 4th-inspired celebrations that will follow. Demi and Alex embraced the season for sparkle but went a different avenue to celebrate the holiday. They chose to go all out with a rustic, Americana feel wedding.
The two tied the knot at Monterre Vineyards in Orefield, PA and what a quaint, ethereal wedding it was! We loved how the ceremony felt like a romantic backyard wedding. Demi chose to wear a sheath dress from David’s Bridal with a deep v neckline and an open back, perfect for the warm summer months.
Demi’s bridesmaids were dressed in varying shades of purple and had a choose-your-own dress option which we think is a wonderful idea. They each carried a cascading bouquet of beautiful and fresh seasonal flowers.
The groomsmen were dressed in soft shades of blue and purple with crisp white button-ups and patterned suspenders. Their ties to kept the occasion formal yet laid back. Their patriotic socks paid homage to the holiday and gave a fun, kitschy feel to the wedding.
The ceremony was gorgeous and breathtaking. It was canopied under large awning branches with an airy fabric draped around the grand tree alter, while the aisle was secluded under the sprawling leaves. The wedding photos looked straight out styled session. The ceremony was a beautiful, natural one that provided many candid and sweet moments for the Lehigh Valley wedding photographers to capture.
The wedding details and reception were sublime. It had a quaint, jazzy feeling, and the evening radiated with love and warmth. We loved the couple’s romantic first dance under a bright spotlight. The multi-tiered cake, unique table settings, and gold accents were also memorable and served as a great summer wedding inspiration.
