Simple, modern elegance! This Minneapolis wedding embodied these traits. Britt and Joey enjoyed a beautiful ceremony on a spring day at Mill Ruins Park followed by an intimate, romantic reception at Radisson Blu Mall of America.
 
The day started with bridal prep and Britt donned a floral silk getting ready robe, similar to her bridesmaids. We absolutely loved the pattern of these, and that all the ladies were matching!
 
For her bridal look, Britt opted for strappy, gold embellished heels from Forever 21 and a sleek, long-sleeved sheath dress. The interesting pairing of high-low price points shows how others can pull a look together effortlessly, and from different price ranges. Great choices can also be affordable! Britt’s bridesmaids wore neutral grey dresses with loose, long hairstyles to complement the relaxed and easy-going feel of the wedding.
 
On the other hand, Joey and his groomsmen decided to go jacket-less for the event. They looked handsome in white button-ups paired with black trousers and blush pink rose boutonnieres. No tie necessary!
 
Britt’s photos with her parents had the nostalgia brimming, soon followed by the bride & groom’s first-look which had us all aww-ing with emotion.
 
The wedding ceremony took place at an industrial wonder located on the west bank of the Mississippi River. Once an area of mills, canals and tailraces, this site made for an unusual and fascinating background for their Minneapolis wedding photography.
 
Britt walking arm in arm with her father towards the aisle, smiling and carrying her lush bridal bouquet of loose greens and pink garden roses, contrasted beautifully with the industrial ceremony setting. We loved how her bouquet complimented the greenery in the park, too.
 
Following the ceremony, the reception at Radisson Blu Mall of America had a ton of modern details. Their petite naked wedding cake matched the theme perfectly. The wedding signage, soft overhead lighting, and wedding decor made the reception feel intimate and romantic, full of the couple’s closest family and friends. We simply loved how this day captured Britt & Joey’s personalities so perfectly!
