What a breath of fresh air! For their enchanting engagement session, Los Angeles couple April and Ryan ventured out of the city and into the natural beauty of Riley Wilderness Park.

With its tangle of majestic trees, winding paths and sun-dappled mountains, this location provided an endless amount of backdrops for April and Ryan’s engagement photographer to capture. It’s no wonder why nature preserves are one of our favorite spots for a summer engagement shoot!

Evoking a carefree California vibe that complemented their surroundings, April and Ryan opted for a snappy-casual style and sported matching blue hues. April channeled the waves of the ocean in a blue ombré maxidress, while Ryan kept it classic in a sky blue polo and jeans.
 
Strolling arm in arm and pausing for a few sweet glances, their love for each other was truly shining in every shot. In front of the camera, April and Ryan were as natural as the wilderness around them.
 
We love how they incorporated a framed chalkboard as a creative prop to announce their wedding date, which happens to be right around the corner! We can’t wait to see their wedding photos in just a few short weeks!
