Minneapolis couple Amber and Matthew celebrated their midwest roots by getting lost in the cornfields and using their natural surroundings as props. Their authentic engagement photography session is as much an ode to the earnest beauty of Americana as it is to each other.

A family farm in Maple Plain provided the perfect setting for Amber and Matthew to explore. Complementing the relaxed nature of the location, the soon-to-be newlyweds kept their look casual but still polished and camera-ready. Styled with skinny jeans and knee-high boots, Amber wore white - one of this year’s top trends for engagement photography. Andrew coordinated in a navy sweater and jeans.

Between the lush green fields and unending paths, the vastness of this farmland was symbolic of the possibilities that lie ahead for Amber and Matthew. It’s no wonder why open fields and nature preserves are among our favorite places for engagement sessions!
