A Blissful Winter Wedding Of Nathalie And Pierre At The Fox Hollow, New York

It is no secret that we love covering and documenting weddings. As the seasons slowly pass us by, we get fresh wedding updates and see so many couples tying the knot in dreamy and elegant settings. This is when our faith in love gets restored. Just like us, we feel like everybody who loves weddings has their favorite parts. We love weddings because there is so much happiness and love that surrounds these events. The newlyweds are happy and so are their loved ones who will be united in their marriage. The array of emotions we feel every time we come across a newly documented wedding album by our talented team of wedding photographers is truly priceless.

Like a little toddler's fascination with the world, we love how couples navigate through their wedding planning process with hopes gleaming in their eyes and promises of a future together reflecting in the way they smile at each other. From the look on the groom's face when he sees his bride in the wedding dress as she glides down the wedding aisle to the dynamic wedding portraits that look like postcards, every aspect and event of a wedding is photo-worthy which truly makes it a once in a lifetime affair. And just like that in the first month of 2020, when the weather was getting cold outside and our hearts were basking in the winter bliss, we came across Nathalie and Pierre who showed us the beauty of winter weddings in a whole new light. This wedding in New York looked straight out of a wedding calendar. Featuring wanderlust wedding details and bucolic winter wedding colors dotting each and every idea and detail, which made every corner of this wedding photo-worthy and dreamy.

There are so many reasons why offseason weddings are beautiful and an off-season wedding in New York is even more beautiful. Right from the beginning Pierre and Nathalie had their hearts set on getting married in New York and it was easy to see why. As Frank Sinatra once quoted "New York, New York, I want to wake up in a city that doesn't sleep" this is the city that never sleeps and has some of the best wedding photography spots in the entire US. From the black and yellow cabs blurring in the background to the cute and cozy cafes dotting the pavements and the iconic Central Park posing as the iconic centerpiece of the city, everything about New York is photogenic.

Featuring some of the most renowned iconic landmarks of the world, tying the knot in New York can give you some of the most famous landmark wedding venues, making it a favorite wedding destination for so many couples. And there is no doubt that New York looks like a dreamy snow globe during winters as powdery snowflakes are as light as cotton blankets the city, turning it into a blissful winter wonderland. From brides wearing stylish winter wedding accessories to grooms gearing up for the biggest day in smart chic black-tie suiting, chances are we will forever be smitten by the elegance of winter weddings. Planning a festive winter wedding in New York means that the breathtaking snowy backgrounds will already be posing as pretty photo ops and you can cut short on budget for wedding décor. Maybe this is why Nathalie and Pierre always wanted to tie the knot in New York winter as an ode to Phoebe Buffay's wedding from the classic F.R.I.E.N.D.S television show!

From posing in front of the Statue of Liberty to stealing a kiss in front of the Empire State Building, when it comes to photo ops in New York, endless will be the term that will fit the bill. Let us go through some of the most iconic and photogenic spots of New York to see why this city has the hearts of Pierre and Nathalie.

Most iconic site in America, the list starts with the Statue of Liberty which dates back to 1886 and was France's gift to America. Symbolizing freedom, this 152 feet tall statue is one of our favorite backgrounds for New York wedding photography sessions. There are also many wedding venues in New York with the Statue of Liberty as its ceremony backdrop. The amazing and breathtaking Central Park in New York is the second most-loved spot for photography. From enabling you to walk, paddle, or carriage ride through the crisscrossing pathways to experiencing the beauty of nature in its tourist glory, a professional couple photography session in Central Park can be the most New York thing ever!

The Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Met is already famous in the world of art and fashion for its unmatched collection of art and for hosting the Met Gala every year. Containing more than two million works of art, spanning a period of 5,000 years, it is an artistic photo spot that is also loved for New York couple photography sessions. The Broadway and the Theater District come next in line as visiting this district is considered to be one of the top things to do in New York. Known to be the pinnacle of American theater, one can bring in the drama of this bustling district into their New York wedding photography session. The most famous landmark buildings in the New York Skyline - the Empire State Building comes next on the list, which is considered to be a great photo op for golden hour photo sessions in New York as the metal facade glistens like a disco ball when the evening sun falls on it.

The Highline in Manhattan is another spot filled with photo opportunities. This urban linear park has been transformed into an urban walking trail above the city streets and glows like a dream during the evening times. And we are wrapping up the photo opportunity list with two of the most iconic and must-visit places of New York- the ever-brilliant Time Square and the majestic Brooklyn Bridge. Your wedding photography session in New York can look great in Times Square as the brilliantly lit screen and billboards will blur in the background as you orchestrate your couple poses. Similarly kissing your love at the Brooklyn Bridge against the Gothic-shaped arches and suspension cables can bring in the essence of the city even more.

There is something so intriguing and interesting about the Gold Coast wedding venues in Long Island, whether it is the regular features in pop culture of the US or the carefully preserved historic mansions that take one back in time. The wedding day at Fox Hollow wedding venue started bright and early when our wedding photographers in New York began to capture the big day in quintessentially small wedding details. Our stunning bride Nathalie was captured as she got ready with her A-team of bridesmaids wearing matching bridesmaids getting-ready outfits. Two flower girls also accompanied our gorgeous bride and posed for pretty pre-ceremony portraits. The matching bridesmaid outfits were navy blue satin pajama and shirt sets with Nathalie in her bridal white. The bride-getting-ready portraits looked gorgeous as she went through her wedding vows once again before walking down the aisle. The gorgeous navy blue and white wedding invites were also captured with the engagement and wedding bands.

The bridal ensemble of Nathalie stole our hearts for starters. The wedding dress was a strapless white gown with a plunging neckline along with intricate embroidery and beading work could be seen running through the entire dress. The sweeping white wedding gown was paired with a Cathedral-length veil along with a red and white bridal bouquet. The winter-themed bridal bouquet featured white and red roses along with cascading greens. Her hair was left open neatly and side-parted on her left as a stunning bridal hairdo that looked effortlessly chic. Her better half Pierre also brought out his A-game of groom outfit by acing in a dark maroon-colored two-piece satin suit with black lapels. He paired this amazing groom suit with a pair of shiny black shoes, a crisp white shirt, a sparkling black bow tie, and a white rose groom boutonniere.

They exchanged their wedding vows in a completely elegant church setting surrounded by white and gold wedding details. The gorgeous duo tied the knot in a gorgeous and chic winter wedding setting and we loved every bit of it. The best part was when they exited their wedding ceremony in an orchestrated grand wedding send-off which featured a shining white car in the middle of a snow-covered backdrop. Can you imagine something dreamier than that? The grand white car send-off truly stole our hearts as the newlyweds said "cheers" and drank champagne while the snowflakes slowly sprinkled and welcomed the lovebirds into a brand new life in a poetic way.

Upon reaching their wedding reception venue, the next part of the wedding celebration began. The newlyweds took this amazing opportunity to click a few couple portraits, and their wedding party joined them shortly after. The dashing groomsmen portraits revealed the matching groomsmen outfits- featuring exclusively black formal suits with crisp white shirts and shiny black bow ties. The gang of women too looked gorgeous in their matching bridesmaid dresses which were navy blue maxi dresses ranging in different mismatching styles. The snowy wedding portraits of Nathalie and Pierre later that night looked ethereal as both of them went outside and posed for some dreamy winter wonderland couple portraits featuring cascading snow, pine trees, and a blanket of white snow-covered grounds of the wedding venue.

From the travel wedding details that were revealed in all the big and small wedding ideas to the emotional family portraits where the newlyweds were designed by their closest family members, every moment of this wedding in New York warmed up our hearts on a snowy winter day. The night came to an end with the couple celebrating and cutting their chic four-tiered wedding cake and twirling through the big dance floor while being wrapped in each other's arms. As much as well-loved all the well-placed and thoughtful wedding details of this New York wedding couple, we also love the synergy of positive energy that they brought to their wedding day.
